What I’m Crushin’ On… St. Hallett Eden Valley Riesling 2007

Most people don’t think of Australia (or New Zealand) as a Riesling producer.  Think again my friend.  If you are a fan of dry, crisp Rieslings, do I have one for you this week!  Enter, St. Hallett Eden Valley Riesling 2007 (Australia).   I got to meet the owner of the winery when he came by the store the other day and tasted us on his wines.  The Riesling was the first one we tasted that day and probably one of the best Australian Rieslings I’ve had!  Talk about dry, citrusy, minerally and fabulous all rolled into one!
